Objectives
Introduction to (philosophically shaped) figures of thought for conceptualizing and analyzing transformation processes. These include terms such as “contingency”, “emergence”, “metamorphosis”, “affecting”, as well as “thinking style”, “paradigm shift” etc. Contents: a) Meaning and the historical context of ideas mentioned (text reading and discussion; b) "Application" of the terms along questions/problems defined by students, and testing or exploring them with regard to their explanatory value.
