Detailed information
Original study plan Master's programme Electronics and Information Technology (ELIT) 2023W
Objectives Students know and understand the basic principles and most prominent topologies for DC-DC converters. Students understand how to evaluate and reason the operating performance and possibilities and limitations regarding the applicability of specific configurations. Additionally, they know and understand major control techniques for inverters.

The level for considering the mentioned topics roughly corresponds to the relevant chapters in Specovius, Joachim: Grundkurs Leistungselektronik, 7. Auflage, Springer Verlag (2015) and Trzynadlowski, Andrzej M. (Ed.): Power Electronic Converters and Systems, 1st ed., IET, (2016).
