                      - Introduction to field theory: scalar fields, vector fields, operators and differential operators, setting-up and solving of line integrals. 
 - Electric field, electrostatics: Coulomb's law, force on sample charge, superposition, potential, potential energy, Maxwell equations 2 and 3, electrostatic fields in matter, behavior at interfaces, capacitance, differential Maxwell equations. 
 - Steady state electric current field: electric field inside a conductor, current, current density, drift velocity of electrons, resistors, Kirchhoff law for nodes, Kirchhoff law for meshes. 
 - Magnetic field, magnetostatics: force on moving charge, matter in magnetic field, Maxwell equations 1 and 4 (magnetostatic!), generation by currents, induction, coupling of electric and magnetic fields, time dependent Maxwell equations, forces in magnetic field, Hall effect.
