Objectives Learning the basics of kinematics and statics of continuous bodies; understanding the phenomenological description of the material behavior of solid continuous bodies; ability to solve problems of continuum mechanics of solids with numerical methods
Subject Kinematics and statics of deformable solid bodies (deformation gradient, strain, velocity gradient, stress); principle of virtual work and balance relations; constitutive relations; reversible constitutive processes (elasticity, thermo-elasticity, electro-elasticity); irreversible constitutive processes (viscoelasticity, elasto-plasticity, ferroelectricity)
