Master's programme Management in Polymer Technologies (MPT) 2022W
Objectives
The Master's Thesis is to be carried out according to § 81 UG 2002 and § 29 of the "Satzung Studienrecht" of the Johannes Kepler University Linz. A specific topic from the field of Polymer Technologies or from the fields of Management or Complementary courses sufficiently related to Polymer Technologies and Economics must be investigated using scientific methods. The work performed as part of the Master's Thesis research (including problem description, objectives, methodology and results) is to be documented in written form in the Master's Thesis and to be presented in the Master's Seminar.
Subject
The students of this study program must perform a Master's Thesis Seminar MPT with 3 ECTS (corresponds to 3 semester hours). The basic methods and rules for writing an academic work and preparing scientific presentations will be explained and demonstared on examples. The results of the Master's Thesis must be presented in this seminar before the finalization of the thesis. In addition to the scientific quality of the thesis, the quality of the presentation is also considered in the mark of this course.
