Objectives This course gives an overview on the applications and classical disciplines of lightweight design.
Subject objective, methods and tools of lightweight design / types of lightweight constructions / examples of lightweight systems design / lightweight materials, composite materials and joining technologies / introduction into constructional lightweight design
Criteria for evaluation written exam (2 examples, working time 90 minutes) and oral exam
Methods As lecture notes the PowerPoint-slides are provided for download. Additional explanations and calculation examples are carried out at the black board.
