Objectives The objectives of this course is to give: An introduction to cooperation, collaboration and coordination An introduction to the basic ideas of intelligent autonomous agents An introduction to the main approaches to building such agents An introduction to the main approaches to building multi-agent systems in which agents can communicate and cooperate to solve problems An introduction to decision-making in multi-agent systems and the logical modelling of agents
Subject The lecture is structured into 5 thematic areas which will be presented in classroom style teaching. Students will deepen their understanding and will get hands on experience in the practical part which consists of questions and exercises to be elaborated by the students.

Criteria for evaluation Grading for students doing the lecture and the lab will be based on the performance in the exercises given during the semester and in presenting a final mini project.
