Master's programme Business Informatics 2022W |
Objectives |
Students are enabled to extract, clean, transform and integrate large corporate data sets beyond organizational boundaries into a data warehouse. They are able to apply data mining methods and tools to systematically analyze business processes and corporate data, aiming at linking the data to discover potentially new knowledge on frequent patterns and/or discontinuities. The students are able to enrich data and business processes with semantic technologies to enable the automated interchange of data between organizations. Altogether these skills in data warehousing, data mining, and semantic technologies enable the students to design, implement and use decision support systems.
