Objectives |
Students acquire in-depth knowledge about theoretical approaches and central empirical insights for the analysis and evaluation of historical as well as contemporary transformations of work, technology and society. They are capable to apply knowledge of different sociological fields to a concrete research process and to write a scientific report about the sociological research project.

Subject |
Indepth knowledge about sociologic theories and empirical findings covering the transformation of work and society (focus: technological transformations and social change) in different social spheres, such as employment and work, organisation, family, health systems, care, migration, social politics, development etc. Concrete contens will vary according to the responsible lecturer.
