Objectives This course is designed to

  • help students understand the writing process by planning, drafting, revising, editing and finalising an academic paper
  • accompany the process of writing a Master's Thesis with written and one-to-one feedback
  • Writing a master's thesis proposals and master thesis in English

  • Punctuating, editing, proofreading
  • Drafting, writing and revising proposals and full academic paper
  • Effectively using synonyms and text cohesion markers
  • Effectively expanding formal vocabulary and register
  • Effectively presenting theses, analysis, information, arguments, results in a paper
  • Avoiding plagiarism, learning to paraphrase
Criteria for evaluation The grade in this course (attended/didn't attend) is awarded once all necessary documents have been written and revised according to the feedback received.
