Students are aware of gender-relevant aspects of established economic theories and methods. They know the historical development of feminist economics and are able to reflect current economic research from a gender perspective.
The subject builds on the course Gender Studies Introduction from the Bachelor´s program in Economics and Management (Wirtschaftswissenschaften 2020W). It serves to consolidate knowledge of Women's and Gender Studies and to deepen it in an economic perspective.
