Objectives |
The students know what characterizes a company or an operation in business and (public) administration, they know important operational functions and processes in the overall economic context, they can exemplify these and develop concepts for them, they have the ability to cooperate with experts from different disciplines, they are familiar with elementary management techniques and have an overview of business fundamentals and interrelationships and thus have the prerequisites to acquire further special competence from business administration.
Furthermore, students possess knowledge of basic concepts of important selected sub-areas of business administration.

In the subject “Core Concepts in Business Administration”, the following courses are mandatory:
- KS Grundlagen der Betriebswirtschaftslehre (3 ECTS)
- KS Grundlagen der Kostenrechnung (3 ECTS)
- KS Buchhaltung nach UGB (3 ECTS)
In the subject "Business Administration Basics: Part II" the following courses, amounting to 18 ECTS, are available for selection, of which 9 ECTS must be chosen:
- KS Einführung in Marketing (3 ECTS)
- KS Einführung in Strategie & Internationales Management (3 ECTS)
- KS Finanzmanagement kompakt (3 ECTS)
- KS Grundlagen des Kostenmanagements und der Budgetierung (3 ECTS)
