Objectives The students have knowledge of digitalization, digital transformation and the integration of new technologies to solve business-related problems, in particular in the context of supply chains. They are able to discuss various models and frameworks supporting companies’ efforts towards digital transformation. They have basic knowledge regarding software development to tackle business challenges. The students know how to apply methods to select and implement new technologies, contributing to the value generation. They have extensive knowledge of digitalization, supply chain management, methods, models and frameworks to support the upper management in decisions regarding digitalization and supply chain management.
Subject The students have knowledge of digital transformation, digitalization and the integration of new technologies to solve business-related problems; information and communication technology (ICT) in the business context; supply chains and supply chain management; programming languages for developing software to tackle challenges evolving from current information society; methods, models and frameworks, shaping the international market; the platform economy, digital goods and the specific characteristics of this market
