Objectives Students are familiar with fundamental theories and models in strategic and international management and know important management tools and methods. They are able to explain strategic and international topics along the strategy process and to combine theoretical and practical insights into how companies manage international expansion and maintain international operations (organizational level). Furthermore, the students are prepared to work in an international, complex and dynamic business environment (macro level).
Subject The courses cover the macro (market, business environment) and organizational levels relevant to understanding how internationally active organizations operate.
Further information The courses follow an integrated teaching approach combining theoretical input with cases, simulations, virtual projects, guest speakers, company projects, exercises in small groups and phases of critical reflection and discussion, etc.
