Objectives The course is intended to expose doctoral students to cancer research (objectives, methodology, limitations) as an interdisciplinary biomedical anchor activity in disease-oriented translational molecular biology, particularly complementing and combining views from basic research and clinical practice (spanning mechanisms of pathobiology, molecular pathogeneses, clinical vignettes and unmet medical needs)
