Advanced course for master and doctoral students who whish to specialize in the fields of Surface Science and/or Nanoscience.

The course adresses the following scientific topics:
- Brief introduction to Surface Science and Nanoanalytics
- Fabrication and atomic manipulation of Nanostructures on surfaces
- Growth, self-organisation and self-assembly
- Physical and chemical properties of nanostructures on surfaces: mechanical, electronic, optical, chemical and magnetic properties.
