Objectives |
Practice of mathematical methods, in particular those which are needed in the lecture courses ,,Basics of Physics" and ,,Theoretical Physics".

Subject |
Recapitulation and extension of vector algebra, analysis and
calculus, tensor calculus, curvilinear coordinates, ordinary
differential equations, functions of complex variables,
Fourier transformations, Dirac delta distribution.

Criteria for evaluation |
(1) Number of successfully solved problems, (2) quality of presentations/commitment during the excercise course, (3) eventually additional excercise exams.

Independent solution of problems (alone or in small groups), presentation of solutions during the excercise course.
