Objectives Deepening the knowledge in electrodynamics.
Subject Theory of electromagnetic radiation and its interaction with matter
a) Lienar-Wiechert potentials, radiation
b) Macroscopic Maxwell equations and derivation from the microscopic Maxwell equations, materials equations, boundary conditions at interfaces
c) Applications: field-matter interactions, linear and non-linear optics
d) relativistic electrodynamics
Criteria for evaluation will be announced in the lecture
