Objectives Mastering the fundamentals of manufacturing technologies and systems with high importance to mechanical engineering. Knowledge and understanding of corresponding basic simulation models. Ability to plan and calculate typical manufacturing tasks (required workpiece properties and tolerances, process variables, work planning etc.) and to select appropriate manufacturing technologies, machines and plants.
