Objectives Knowledge of motion capture methods, exoskeletons and motion assistance methods. In-depth knowledge of the description of position and orientation of bodies in 3D space, kinematic modeling and description of motion. Skills for the development and utilization of a kinematic model and for the analysis and synthesis of movements based on motion capture data.
Subject Motion capture methods, rigid body kinematics, kinematics of multi-body systems, time-continuous description of motion, analysis and reproduction of movements, biomechanics of the lower extremities, human gait, synthesis of gait patterns, exoskeletons and motion assistance methods
