Objectives The strudents learn about models, computational modelling methods and phenomena in the field of rotor dynamics
Subject - Introduction to the dynamics of machines, structures and rotors - Equations of motion, discretization of simple rotating structures
- Vibration isolation
- Static and dynamic model reduction, modal and bi-modal analysis
- Jeffcott rotor, outer and inner damping, gyroscopic effect, variation oft he rotation speed, vibrations of blades
- Fluid film bearing, Magnetic bearing, rotor with crack
