Detailed information |
Original study plan |
Bachelor's programme Mechatronics 2022W |
Objectives |
Deepening of knowledge about precise measurement of signals and practical implementation of suitable measurement circuits. Development of the ability to assess the influence of external and internal sources of interference and noise. Application of techniques for the processing of signals with low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
|
Subject |
- PC-based automated measuring utilizing GPIB interface
- Influence of coupling mechanisms (inductive, capacitive, resistive) on measurement and transmission lines
- Influence of electromagnetic impulses on measurement circuits
- Extraction of low SNR signals via lock-in amplifiers. Application on strain, displacement and light measurement
- Measurements utilizing low-noise current amplifiers (large resistances, etc.)
- High-precision current measurement to determine high-impedance resistances and smallest capacitances.
