Objectives |
- Acquiring knowledge about the mathematical foundations of scientific computing,
- self-reliant transformation of acquired basic knowledge to applications,
- recognizing fields of applications of the presented algorithms,
- acquiring the ability to transform/adapt the algorithms to applications,
- acquiring the ability to implement these algorithms in C++

- solution of linear systems of equations, stability
- sparse systems, iterative methods
- computation of eigenvalues or singular values
- nonlinear systems of equations
