  • self-reliant transformation of acquired basic knowledge to applications,
  • recognizing fields of applications of the presented algorithms,
  • acquiring the ability to transform/adapt the algorithms to applications,
  • acquiring the ability to implement these algorithms in C++

  • basics of scientific computing in C++ (object-oriented programming, pointers/references, memory management, templates)
  • solution of linear systems of equations, stability
  • sparse systems, iterative methods
  • computation of eigenvalues or singular values
  • nonlinear systems of equations
  • interpolation
