Objectives |
In continuation of the first PBL project in the winter semester, our newcomers deepen their knowledge of their plastics-related task, work in their team of up to 6 students, and strengthen their social and personal skills in addition to the detailed specialist knowledge acquired through their own initiative.
Furthermore, accompanied by a professor or lecturer from Polymer Engineering, they have to work on this task together, work through individual subtasks in a structured manner, discuss intermediate results in the team and finally present and defend a comprehensible solution as a team.

Subject |
In continuation of the first PBL project at the beginning of the study program, the summer semester focuses on the practical examination of the set task and independent group work, but also on social skills and personal skills, such as presentation and communication techniques.
In addition, students can receive brief impulses from lecturers at the university or experts from industry, supplemented by excursions to industrial companies.

Criteria for evaluation |
The evaluation takes place with an intermediate evaluation in the WS and a final evaluation with presentation and awarding of the best project by an expert jury from Polymer Engineering towards the end of the summer semester.
