Objectives Embedded computer systems are becoming the key element of mechatronic systems. In the recent years, these systems need to communicate with higher-level computer systems and with each other. This course provides a general overview on networked embedded systems. It presents their general structure, architectures and components. Furthermore, it gives an overview on programming methods and means of communications in use.
