Subject The course focuses on the behavior of machine elements through selected experiments using modern measurement equipment; Examples of experiments: Friction and heat-up of roller bearings; Efficiency of gears (gear drive, belt gear); Start-up and heat-up of journal bearings; Kinematic and dynamical transfer behavior of universal joints
Criteria for evaluation Results from the entrance examination; in-class participation; reports
Methods Preparing exercises according to assignments; independent test rig assembly and operations under supervision; submission of a lab report
