Objectives This course expands the knowledge of the methods covered in the corresponding lecture.

  • Fundamentals of measurement uncertainty and their statistics
  • Frequency and time response of various circuits.
  • Calculation of systematic and statistic measurement uncertainties
  • Bridge circuits in balanced and amplitude mode for direct and alternating current
  • Examples for inductive and capacitive sensors
  • Design of amplifier circuits
  • Digital-analogue- and analogue-digital converters
  • Sources of error in digital measurement systems
