Objectives |
Students will acquire base knowledge of selected concepts and methods in production and logistics management and will be able to apply these methods and techniques to practical problems. Besides heuristic methods, an introduction to the Excel solver for exact methods is given.
This course is a deepening of the course KS Produktion und Logistik.

Methods include:
Location Planning: Steiner-Weber-problem, p- median problem, production programming: linear optimization, material requirements planning: single and multiperiodically Newsvendor Problem
Lot sizing, schedule planning: Silver -Meal heuristic, network technique, transportation planning: split-minimum-method, Vogel- approximation, linear optimization, itinerary planning, improving procedure, construction procedure.
