Objectives (*)Understanding the concept of socio-technical transition management as a multi-level approach. Becoming familiar with sustainable technologies and their role towards sustainable transformation of markets, industries and societies. Gaining insights of the macro-, meso- and micro-level responsible transformation drivers. Learning about socio-technical transition practices. Be familiar with societal and entrepreneurial challenges of socio-technical transition management.

  • Concept of socio-technical transition management as a multi-level approach addressing niche (i.e. entrepreneurs/start-ups), socio-technical systems (e.g. incumbents, associations, regulatory framework, customers), and landscape (long-term developments such as oil prices) levels.
  • Sustainable technologies and their role towards sustainable transformation of markets, industries and societies.
  • Macro-, meso- and micro-level responsible transformation drivers.
  • Socio-technical transition practices.
