| Objectives |
The students know the basics of mergers & acquisitions. This includes making decisions and independently performing tasks in the M&A process as well as in M&A consulting. The course focuses on the financial perspective of M&A, although legal, economic and management aspects are also addressed.

- Introduction to M&A (figures and facts, motives of M&A, M&A performance, participants in the M&A process, takeover tactics, M&A process, etc.)
- M&A Valuation
- (Financial) Due Diligence
- Financing the deal (financial instruments, earn out, etc.)
- Post-merger integration from a financial perspective
