Objectives The course aims at rounding out the view of macroeconomics.
Subject The Labour Market and Theories of employment and unemployment, respectively. Economic Expansion, change in unemployment and Inflation. Real Interest Rate, Real Income and Inflation. Growth in the Long Period. Expectations in Financial and Goods Markets, Expectations and Economic Policy-making. Exchange Rate Systems. Fiscal Policy and Public Finances. Monetary Policy.
Criteria for evaluation Two written tests (single choice), one of which is optional. When choosing two tests, the better result will counts. In addition, bonus points for well-formulated, perceptive oral contributions in class are available.
Methods Lecturing, questions, dicussions and non-committal short tests.
