Objectives Students learn in-depth theoretical models and social, cultural, and gender-specific empirical findings on the topics of "Introduction to Information Technology, Society, and Gender". Thus, they are able to consider social and gender aspects in the design, implementation, and operation of information systems and technology.
Subject Drawing on both courses „Social Impacts of IT“ and „Introduction to Society, Gender and Diversity in Information Technology“, this subject addresses advanced aspects in social and gender issues of ICT.
