Objectives |
Students specialise on important themes in global development and development cooperation. They gain academic competences in key concepts of development studies and develop a global perspective on the world. The students get professional capacities to work in an international environment.

Subject |
Students select courses in international development studies from a variety of courses offered each year. For example, students can select courses from the virtual studies courses offered by UniPID (Finnish University Partnership for International Development): https://www.unipid.fi/ The course selection will be confirmed separately for each academic year.

Criteria for evaluation |
Active participation during the Intensive Programme and/or in Moodle on-line learning environment, written assignments.

Methods |
Introductory lectures during Intensive Programme, afterwards on-line learning methods supported by Moodle OR a course organized fully on-line in Moodle learning environment without a face-to-face introduction.
