Subject
(*)Business cycle theory, DSGE models with extensions to incorporate financial markets, new developments in Keynesian and new Keynesian theory, theory of monetary and fiscal policy; longer‑term sustainability issues and growth. Selected topics in open economy macroeconomics.

(*)The course will mostly cover theory, however applied economic tests and model
simulations will be discussed (the latter will be dealt with more extensively in the associated IK Advanced Macroeconomics course).
