Criteria for evaluation In essence, students enrolled in the IK course are required to complete four "take-home problem sets". Grading will be based on the number of completed exercises from these problem sets and the quality of the student’s presentation. In all, there are examples up to 24 points to solve. Students may be awarded additional points for a good presentation; for poor presentations, points may be deducted.
Methods The first class meetings will introduce students to the statistical/software packet Strata. During the subsequent class sessions, selected students will prepare and present exercises (see Criteria for Evaluation). After each exercise, there will be a joint class discussion.
