Detailed information
Original study plan Master's programme Polymer Chemistry 2019W
Objectives This lecture course covers molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) which are known as artificial antibodies and enzymes. Insights in syntheses, forms, characteristics and application of MIPs are given.
Subject antibodies and enzymes, basics of polymerisation, synthesis of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) (bulk/emulsion/precipitation/suspension polymerisation), formats of MIPs (particles, coatings, membranes, gels), applications of MIPs (chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, solid phase extraction, sensor technology, catalysis, combinatorial libraries, controlled release)
Criteria for evaluation Oral examination
