Objectives This practical course complements the lecture "Introduction to Robotic Systems" and aims at practicing the concepts and methods acquired in the lecture.

  • Introduction to Robotic Systems (actuators, sensors, control system)
  • Kinematics and Dynamics of simple Robotic System
  • Path planning (position, orientation)
  • Standard Position control
  • Visual Servoing control
  • Mobile robots (kinematic model, steering control, localization)
Criteria for evaluation Marking of homework and the performance in lab (implementation, extension).

Study material Students are given assignments in regular intervals. Homework must be handed in. Results are to be presented and discussed in the course.
