Subject Thermodynamics
Empiric gas laws, kinetic gas theory, introduction to atomic and molecular structure, Maxwell-Boltzmann statistics, 1st law of thermodynamics, thermo chemistry, 2nd and 3rd law of thermodynamics, free energy and enthalpy, statistic interpretation and calculation of entropy, free enthalpy and the equilibrium constant, properties of liquids, phase diagrams of single and multi-component systems, thermodynamics of mixed phases and blends and phase equilibrium.

Electrochemistry
Properties of (diluted) electrolyte solutions, Debye-Hückel theory, electromotive force of electrochemical cells, electrode double layer, reference electrodes,

Molecular Statistics
Classical Maxwell-Boltzmann statistics, quantum statistics, partitition functions
