Objectives
The objective of the course is to introduce students to the field of mechanical and plant engineering by presenting modern industrial companies. In particular, the students should learn what is understood by mechanical engineering today and what are the requirements of industrial companies on future engineers.
Subject
In an introduction lecture, an industrial company is presented, which isto be visited during the semester. Before the excursion, the students must prepare a brief presentation of the company's fields of activities. In addition, a written report of the excursion has to be prepared, in which connections to the future mechanical engineering studiesshould also be discussed. The work must be presentedto the colleagues.
