Objectives |
The aim of this course is to introduce polymer engineering students into basic concepts of measurement and control engineering. For a better understanding of the discussed theories, the course includes practical exercises (simulations and laboratory exercises).

- Measurement basics (Sensitivity, Resolution, Precision, Linearity, Statistics)
- Power Measurement
- Process sensors (Temperature, Pressure, Force, Position,….)
- Signal conditioning
- Data acquisition
- Advanced process sensors (Spectroscopy, Ultrasound,…)
- Laboratory exercises and/or Matlab Simulations – Measurement
