Ziele (*)The lecture provides an overview on organic semiconducting polymers. It describes the synthesis, properties and applications of the main classes of conjugated polymers as well as gives details on design principle for materials for solar cells applications. Detailed structure-property relationships are demonstrated based on Poly(phenylene-ethynylene)-alt-poly(phenylene-vinylene) systems
