Objectives Introduction to basic concepts and methods in mathematical analysis with focus on areas particularly relevant to physics.
Subject Sets, relations, functions, metric spaces, convergence and limit of sequences and series of numbers, continuity, minima and maxima of funcitons, differentiation of functions of one real variable, Taylor's theorem, Rieman integral.
