Objectives |
Introduction to base knowledge physics of thermal transfer and the analytical modeling of thermal transport processes.

Subject |
Basic concepts and methods of thermal transfer, thermal radiation, stationary thermal conduction and thermal transfer, ribbing, transient thermal conduction, convective heat transfer, thermal transfer and heat exchanger, and heat exchanging devices.
|
Criteria for evaluation |
Written final examination at the end of the course; will be offered 3x per semester.
