Detailed information
Original study plan Bachelor's programme Electronics and Information Technology 2020W
Objectives The lecture provides a detailed introduction in the field of the design of mixed-mode circuits. In the first part the classical design process of analog and digital circuits will be discussed. The second part deals with the design of mixed-mode circuits. As last part an introduction in VHDL-AMS with several examples demonstrates the “practical” mixed-mode design process.
Subject
  • Design of analog and digital circuits (design process, hierarchy, simulation, comparison, “VHDL/Verilog vs. Spice”,…)
  • Mixed-mode design
  • VHDL-AMS introduction and examples
