Objectives The lecture provides profound knowledge about the most important methods for characterisation and investigation of micro- and nanostructures using high-resolution microscopy.
Subject The course covers the most important nanocharacterization methods for high-resolution imaging and analysis of micro- and nanostructures.
Topics: Basic Methods for Nanocharacterization, Probe-sample interactions, optical microscopy, single molecule microscopy, scanning and transmission electron microscopy, atomic force and scanning tunneling microscopy.
Criteria for evaluation Oral Exam, dates by arrangement.
