Criteria for evaluation |
Grading is based on problem sets (30 points), and a presentation of a scientific paper (30 points).
|
Methods |
Before class, students have to solve problem sets consisting mainly of computer exercises. In class, each exercise is presented by a randomly chosen student using the statistical software package STATA. In the second part of the intensifying course, groups of students have to present and discuss scientific papers. The presentation may include a small replication exercise.
