Objectives The students know characteristics of corporations in the economy and (public) administration, they know important business functions and processes in the overall economy. They are able to design and develop concepts for business functions and processes, and to cooperate with experts from different disciplines. Furthermore, the students are familiar with basic leadership techniques and acquire an overview of the fundamentals of economics in order to acquire more specialized expertise in business sciences.
Subject Introduction to Business Administration as an academic science including techniques in book-keeping and accounting. Specific managerial functions of a company like marketing, production/logistics, cost and financial management as well as accounting and strategy are considered.
