Objectives (*)To broaden knowledge on the subject.
Subject (*)This advanced course will explore the application of genetic tools in model systems for the analysis of developmental events and human diseases. We will study the genetics of humans, Drosophila , yeast, C. elegans and mice as model systems, to provide a background in methods of in vivo genetic analysis. The course will illustrate many fundamental principles needed to understand modern biology.
