Objectives The students should learn the fundamental concepts and methods of mathematics and should be able to apply them to problems in the natural and technical sciences.
Subject - Integral calculus and its applications - Fundamental differential equations
- Sequences and series of functions, in particular potential series and Fourier series
- Vector spaces and linear mappings
- Differential and integral calculus of real-valued and vector-valued functions of more than one variable
- Application of supporting software to deal with the topics
Criteria for evaluation Written exams, number of prepared examples, quality of presentation, quality of submitted project solutions
Methods Presentation and discussion of examples by students in the classroom
