| Objectives |
In this lecture, we present selected topics from mathematics. Starting from the curriculum of a typical Austrian secondary school, we will acquire other mathematical methods. The course can serve as a basis for more specialized lectures in natural and technical sciences. Since the course starts from the material taught in secondary schools, it is appropriate also for secondary school students who want to enlarge their knowledge on mathematics.

| Subject |
Vector spaces and linear algebra. Geometric objects are often described using vectors. We will move such objects by rotating, translating, and reflecting them. To this end, we will master computations with matrices.

Test at the end of part I or at the end of the semester.
